Description
Color Theory has an important application in UI/UX design, influencing the overall appearance of the designed products. This research explores how principles of color theory can be applied in UI/UX design in evoking particular emotions and improving the overall user experience. By examining contemporary design practices and case studies, the research highlights the influence of color theory on improving user perception, accessibility, color consistency and brand identity. The research provides a comprehensive explanation of web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG-s), and recommendations for usage of colors on text and non-text elements, that will assist UI/UX designers comprehend specific contrast ratios to ensure interface readability. Key findings indicate that proper use of colors and contrasts can improve interface readability, user engagement, and make data visualizations more effective. The research also addresses challenges such as effective conveyance of information in UI/UX design, emphasizing the need for improving with colors the data comprehension, user engagement, and overall accessibility. Ultimately, this paper provides insights into the influence of color trends and cultural differences on user preferences, demonstrating the importance of trends in emotional responses of the users, as well their aesthetic inclinations.
