The purpose of this paper is to analyze the use of Self-Service Business Intelligence within Kosovo businesses. Self Service Business Intelligence it refers to technologies, applications and processes for gathering, accessing, storing and analyzing data based on organization’s own needs. The use of self service business intelligence enables business users to make decisions based on their own analysis without involvement of IT teams or predefined data reports available on BI system. Self-service BI tend to be more self reliant and faster on manipulating data according to the needs of the organizations. Self-service BI tools are designed to adapt quickly and frequently to the changing business needs. The use of self-service BI systems have become common support for organizations for making decisions for future developments. This paper will contribute on better understanding the use of self-service BI within Kosovo businesses and the results from this paper could lead Kosovo businesses understand the importance of using self service BI.
