Exploratory Research to Recycling Potential in Kosovo

Session

Mechatronics, System Engineering and Robotics

Description

This research examines the potential for recycling in developing countries, respectively the potential of Kosovo. Moreover, it examines the required technology and the process which enable the recycling of various materials. The goal of this research is to identify the economic value of recycling in Kosovo expressed in recycled products contribution to the Kosova GDP. This goal is achieved through qualitative and quantitative research conducted in the literature and the statistics. The opportunity for recycling of waste materials identified in Kosovo show positive mark for investing in the recycling projects. The results show significant amount of possibilities for recycling, since the projections for recycling potential are optimistic.
