Impact of fossil fuel emissions on effects on Renewable energy sources

Session

Energy Efficiency Engineering

Description

Fossil combustion pollution in large industries in Kosovo, in particular power plants for electricity generation in the Kosovo Energy Corporation are a problem of massive environmental pollution, an influential effect on the parameters of energy generation by BER.

The focus of the paper accurately specifies the data obtained on the amount of emissions of solid particles and gases into the atmosphere from polluting sources, the effects of climatic conditions on sustainable energy development. The environmental protection prevention notes the measures of environmental pollution prevention as well as the measure of the impact of pollution on the population affected by the polluting particles. The energy strategy, the impossibility of implementing the factors identifying the energy sustainability will also be in the focus of this paper as a factor of exposure of the values measured by the polluting particles according to the electronic stocks of KHMI throughout the territory of Kosovo.

The biggest polluter continues to be KEK with its two power plants Kosova and Kosova A with the presence of emissions from coal burners. Pollution measurements are performed with electronic measurements and online measurements compared to these pollution parameters: Dust, SO2, NOx and CO2, O3, CO etc.

The effects of smog pollution vary depending on climatic conditions and they often affect the generation sustainability of alternative energies such as solar energy, and this directly affects the efficiency and effectiveness of electricity.
