The analysis of websites and its role in the decision-making process has significantly increased the interest and attention of businesses globally. This study aims to thoroughly examine the contribution of web analytics to the way businesses make decisions. The results demonstrated a widespread use of web analytics in the business sector in Kosovo. These analyses were utilized to understand customer preferences and needs, enhance their online experience, and develop successful marketing and communication strategies. Starting with an introduction to the understanding and importance of web analytics, the review continues with a discussion of the methods and techniques used in this field, including identifying traffic sources, detecting issues, and building marketing strategies. The benefits and challenges of using web analytics are also addressed, focusing on the use of analyzed data to make informed decisions. With a systematic methodology approach, this analysis aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the contribution of web analytics to the decision-making process and address the challenges of integrating information technology with business needs. In conclusion, the study results showed that the use of web analytics is a crucial tool for businesses in Kosovo to make informed decisions and improve their performance in the online environment. Benefits include increased online visibility, higher sales, and the establishment of sustainable customer relationships. However, some challenges include the lack of knowledge and skills to interpret general data and create effective strategies based on them. The research highlights the extent to which decision-making through web analytics is utilized by businesses in Kosovo.
