Description

An LMS (Learning Management System) is an online platform that enables the distribution of materials, resources, tools and activities for pupils and students both inside and outside the classroom settings. In this paper, it will be discussed the effects of using LMS in the teaching and learning process in high Schools in the Republic of Kosovo and the challenges of implementing these platforms in the education system. Also, explanations regarding the variety of use of LMS, communication, accessibility, flexibility, and the advantages and disadvantages of using these platforms in teaching and learning will be also provided. In assition, the necessary infrastructure and adaptability to the current curriculum in the pre-university education system in Kosovo will be presented.
