Description
The future urban development of Prishtina is the subject to this research paper. Whether Prishtina has its potentials toward Knowledge – based development, is to be seen by this paper, using the theories of Knowledge economy and the Organizing Capacities. Such evaluation of the potentials toward KBD has been done in the year 2004, when Prishtina had it first Urban Development Plan after ’99, while today at 2018 such an evaluation is to compare previous trends with of today. Trends such as of local economy, number of the students, quality of life, city marketing etc has been encountered. Policy and planning implications has to be set up as benchmarking for future development plans of Prishtina capital city of Kosova.
