Symbiotic Interactions between Technology and an Interior Design
Session
Integrated Design
Description
Technology is an important phenomenon that shapes today and qualitatively opens the door to the future. The speed of development of the technology that can reach people from every part of society is increasing at a remarkable speed. With every field being active, technology, design spaces and modern living spaces are also very influential. Interior design is the process of meeting all the needs of the space organization in the most accurate and appropriate way. If the space is designed correctly, it can keep its users in contact with other individuals without breaking the relationships with nature. Interior design has an ability to direct the users' emotions, thoughts, creativity and sociological tendencies. This symbiotic interaction between space and sociology completely removes technology from its purpose. For example, technology dystopia in the '' Black Mirror '', published in Great Britain, reveals that technology influences people as an object and as an endeavor to explore the effects of daily life on people. In this study, in the 21st century, through the simulation of the technological age, digitalization in interior design, contemporary interior spaces and "archigram" currents were examined and the effect of these spaces on collecting was examined and discussed. In the study, open inferences are presented to the interpretation by evaluating the possibilities for responding to the problems obtained with such information.
Symbiotic: denoting a mutually beneficial relationship between different people or groups.
Dystopia: an imagined place or state in which everything is unpleasant or bad, typically a totalitarian or environmentally degraded one.
Keywords:
Technology, interior, digitalization, space sociology, simulation, design, Archigram
