Description
The rapid technological development has caused many foundations in various areas of social life to shake. Even the journalism was no exception. Many world-famous newspapers broke their press releases by focusing more on their online versions. Like in other parts of the world, Kosovo has also had the same fate. An example of this is “Gazeta Express, “Tribuna” and so on, going from the printed platform to the electronic one. With the emergence of numerous portals in Kosovo, the idea came from a group of professional editors and journalists to have a professional and ethical self-regulation. Self-regulation essential role is to protect the media from political censorship, economic dependence, and super-expensive affairs in court. This topic focuses on the role of the Kosovo Press Council Code, how the applicable provisions are applied and respected.
