Description

The GGU-FOOTING program allows the analysis of bearing capacity according to DIN 4017 and of settlement according to DIN 4019. Both the global safety factors according to DIN 1054 (old) and the partial safety factors according to DIN 1054:2005 or EC 7 may be taken into con-sideration. In addition to the standard DIN 4017 methods, the methods after Terzaghi, Meyerhoff, Hansen and Vesic that are well known from many literature references may also be adopted. Considering the permanent and temporary loads P [kPa] that act on the ground during the construction of buildings, the German DIN standard enables the calculation of bearing capacity and at the same time calculating the displacement that are always dependent on the loads P = [kPa] that is exerted on the ground also by the physical-mechanical parameters of that location.
