Needs for architecture interpretation of archaeological remains

Session

Architecture and Spatial Planning

Description

Archaeological sites present the past and history of the country during different periods. They have an important presence in our cultural, historical and scientific life, which in every way and condition must be protected. The studied area is a historical archeological site in which we can say that it can have an impact on changing the history of the city of Prizren.

The main focus of the research is the architectural interpretation of the archaeological site, in which we can have many visual, cultural and historical influences. The project focuses on creating a characteristic space that can serve as a public space as well as a workshop for further excavation.

This research will pave the way for greater development in the field of protection of cultural, historical and scientific values of the country, raising it socially. The interaction of architecture with archeology will be noticeable, not forgetting the fact that even that site was once an early part of the architecture which has survived to the present day.
