This study analyzes the legal framework on the construction contract and its practical problems. The aim of this study is to research the different aspects related to the implementation of construction contracts in practice. Also, the study aims to research the development challenges and perspectives of construction companies in Kosovo. In particular, this study tries to identify the problems that construction companies are facing due to the economic crisis and the increase in construction costs. For this study, 10 construction companies were surveyed. The random selection method was used for the selection of the sample, and the data results were analyzed through the descriptive method. The findings of this study show that the main factors that are currently limiting the activity of construction companies are the rise in the prices of construction materials and the lack of labor.
