This paper attempts to evaluate and evidence the push for densification/verticalization in Prishtina, if it has legal support and in its plans as strategic documents, as well as to analyze the driving factors or side effects, resulting from the phenomenon of densification/verticalization in Prishtina. Methodology: i) Analysis of legality and planning documentation in support of densification-verticalization in Kosovo/Prishtina; ii) Evaluation of macro and micro driving factors in urban densification of Prishtina; iii) Evaluation of the effects of "densification/verticalization" in Pristina. Conclusion: Prishtina's developments in the sense of densification within the Urban Center are not supported by the Strategy or Spatial Plan of Kosovo, just as not by the Spatial Planning Law, where Urban Regeneration, criteria and purpose should be specified. major, consequences and effects.
