This abstract explores the dynamic role of women in the digital arts across Balkan countries, a region known for its rich cultural tapestry and historical complexities.   Despite facing socio-cultural barriers, women artists have emerged as pivotal figures in redefining digital expression, often addressing themes of identity, memory, and social justice. Through examining the works of influential artists and collectives, this study highlights the unique narratives that women contribute to the digital landscape, emphasizing their role in challenging traditional artistic norms and fostering community engagement.   Ultimately, this research underscores the transformative impact of women in the digital arts and invites further exploration into the evolving nature of their contributions in the Balkans.
