Architecture and Spatial Planning
Description
This thesis explores the importance and benefits of natural lighting in the architecture of individual buildings. The purpose of the study is to explore the impact of natural light on improving the quality of life and the energy efficiency of buildings. The use of natural lighting can reduce the need for artificial lighting, bringing economic and ecological benefits. The methodology used includes analysis of existing literature, case studies and computer simulations to assess the impact of natural lighting on architectural design. The results show that the integration of natural lighting in the architectural design not only improves the aesthetics of the space, but also contributes to the health and well-being of the residents. Natural lighting reduces visual stress and improves productivity and mood. Furthermore, the efficient use of natural light can significantly reduce electricity consumption, bringing significant economic and environmental benefits. As a conclusion, this study highlights the importance of integrating natural lighting into the architectural design process of individual buildings. It is recommended that architects and designers consider natural lighting strategies to create healthier and more sustainable spaces.
