The preservation of heritage buildings is essential for the cultural, economic, and social fabric of a community. In Kosovo, numerous cultural heritage buildings are in urgent need of restoration to maintain their historical and cultural significance. One such building that demands immediate attention is the old wine cellar in Suhareka. This cellar not only holds economic significance but also serves as a symbol of the region's cultural identity. This study aims to thoroughly assess the current state of the wine cellar and identify the contributing factors to its deterioration. Through comprehensive analysis, comparison, interviews, and surveys, the paper aims to present a robust proposal for the revitalization of this old wine cellar. The objective is to restore its original function while integrating modern technological advancements for wine production, all while preserving its intrinsic values and respecting its cultural identity. The revitalization of the wine cellar stands as a pivotal initiative that could significantly benefit both the wine industry and the local community.
