Session
Energy Efficiency Engineering
Description
In the century in which we are living, every sphere of life is moving towards automation and digitization, which made electricity even more necessary in our daily lives, at work, in business, in production, etc. Like any other physical-technical process, that of the transmission and distribution of electrical energy in the system is accompanied by a corresponding loss of power and energy. The value of these losses in electric power systems is significant and is usually found somewhere in the range of 8-14% of the gross amount of electricity produced, the greater part of which is caused in the distribution network, while the smaller one in the transmission network. Therefore, since the losses represent a significant burden not only technical, but also financial, the analysis, calculations and evaluation regarding them are necessary to be able to conclude regarding the measures for their reduction and their reduction to the possible technical minimum. The purpose of this topic is to compare technical losses in different voltage lines. What is the possibility of achieving a minimum value of transmission and distribution loss of electricity? The role of many other important factors has also been addressed. The simulation of the losses in the lines during the summer and winter season was done.
