Description

The aim of this paper is to analyse and discuss the state-of-the-art concern with the level of digital transformation (DT) in HEI. It takes into account the challenges and opportunities HEI are facing as a result of growing digital transformation processes and enabling technologies. The study will explore the main DT activities and components, including but not limited to digital infrastructure, innovative teaching and learning practices, cultural and financial constraints, staff and student engagement, equity and sustainability issues. The objectives of this study are oriented towards recent qualitative literature evaluation, quantitative method to the stat-of-the-art, and an empirical case study approach. The limitations of this research are related to the deficiency of local literature and incomplete topic statistical data bases. The results are aimed to provide the best possible information to the researchers, institutions, businesses and other interested parties.
