In the digital era, challenges related to civil rights have gained unprecedented significance, particularly with regard to privacy and individual security. This paper examines the impact of emerging technologies, including data collection, on civil rights within digital environments. Through the analysis of specific case studies and a review of legal and policy frameworks, this study identifies the principal challenges arising from the interplay between technological advancements and privacy protection. The paper focuses particularly on the effects of these technologies on personal security and data integrity, while also exploring the implications for individual rights in an increasingly interconnected world. This research proposes recommendations for developing new policies and mechanisms to balance technological progress with the need to protect fundamental rights. The contribution of this study lies in advancing a sustainable approach to safeguarding civil rights in a rapidly evolving and technologically dynamic context.
