Description
The digitalization process presents a range of challenges for companies in Kosovo, aiming to enhance efficiency and compete in international markets. This study seeks to analyze the key challenges faced by Kosovar companies during their transition to digitalization. Prominent challenges include the lack of technological infrastructure, a shortage of specialized workforce skills, and financial constraints for investing in advanced technologies. Additionally, companies encounter low awareness and understanding of the benefits of digitalization, as well as regulatory obstacles that slow the adoption of new technologies. This study will offer recommendations to improve conditions and policies that can facilitate the digitalization process in Kosovo, focusing on capacity building, infrastructure improvement, and fostering public-private partnerships.
