Nurses and Healthcare Management in Health Emergency Situations

In recent times, health emergencies have become increasingly frequent and complex, requiring effective and coordi- nated responses from the healthcare system. This study explores the critical role of nurses in managing healthcare during health emergencies, highlighting the skills, challenges, and strategies they use to cope with these situations. The research includes an analysis of recent literature and interviews with nurses who have direct experience in managing health emergencies. For the real- ization of this study, standardized questionnaires (Homayoun Sadeghi-Bazargani, 2020) were used in the cities of Peja, Deçan, and Gjakova, with participants including 171 females and 9 males aged between 20 and 50 years. Additionally, the study identi- fies best practices and recommendations for improving healthcare responses in such situations. This study contributes to a better understanding of the role of nurses and the development of new strategies to enhance the healthcare system in times of crisis.
