Description
At the General Hospital in Peja, we have a significant increase in the incidence of cesarean births from 7% in 2000 to 42% in 2023. This has also resulted in an increase in the number of repeated interventions from two to four times. As a result of In addition, we have identified an increasing number of intra-abdominal and pelvic adhesions, raising the question of whether the Shtark-Misgav Ladach intervention method has an impact on the wall and the rate of adhesions, a method applied in our hospital since 2002. Since 2017, my team, we have started the application of suturing the visceral peritoneum and the parietal peritone- um, additional intervention, while other procedures have been applied according to the Schtark-Misgav Ladash method, with the idea that by suturing the peritoneum there will be less adhesions. From 01.01.2023 to 30.05.2024, 142 cases of births performed with Sextio Cesarea were analyzed by me and Dr. Samoni and were subjected to the evaluation of the number of adhesions, their degree by comparing them with the previous methods of the intervention performed , the Schtark-Misgav Ladach method (with- out sutures of the peritoneum) and the modified method with sutures of the peritoneum. Although, from the analysis of the re- sults, a greater number of adhesions to the Shtark-Misgav Ladach interventions result, the small number of cases does not result in statically valid data to verify such a hypothesis, but raises it as an open issue that deserves further study.
