The Humanitarian Age: A Transformative Framework for Governing Emerging Technologies

Session

Political Sciences

Description

The purpose of this study is to propose a new paradigm for managing the global risks associated with artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. Using a transformative research methodology that integrates philosophical reasoning and logical analysis, the research develops the Humanitarian Framework for Technology Management. This model seeks to counter misinformation and establish coherent principles for technological oversight. Findings reveal that meaningful governance requires collaboration between multinational corporations and local communities to ensure accountability, transparency, and equitable benefit-sharing. The implications of the research are twofold: first, it provides a structured approach to align innovation with humanitarian and security priorities; second, it demonstrates that ethical, community-based governance can transform technology from a potential destabilizing force into an instrument of global stability and collective progress. The study defines this convergence as the onset of a new era (the Humanitarian Age.)
