Description
The aim of this Program is to develop motor skills, improve their health and achieve social and emotional development through the application of a simplified variant of the game of table tennis, helping to create the awareness to engage in lifelong physical activity. Methods: In the structure of the Program – the first part provides 5 teaching units for the 5–8year-old age group, while the second part includes the 12–16-year-old age group. The program will initially be a pilot type with 7 schools in different regions of Kosovo, with 7 trainersteachers and groups of 16 students, a total of 112 students. Results: The results of this Project will be: the development of students' motor skills, the improvement of health and social development, as well as the spread and massification of table tennis in schools. Conclusion: After the completion of the Pilot project, the Programme will be expanded to include most schools in Kosovo. To guarantee the success of this Program, teachers have been trained by licensed Coaches and university professors, specialists in the field of table tennis.
