This paper is an attempt to estimate the relationship between FDI inflow and improving the business environment through Ease of Doing Business indicators. The research aims to explore statistical significant linkages between improved of overall WB ranking and inward FDI performed on the sample of six Balkan countries - Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Republic of Kosovo and Serbia. The hypotheses are formulated and basic tests performed on data from using the World Bank’s Doing Business official rankings from 2010 to 2020. Furthermore, the study shows that the analyzed countries from the Western Balkans region have managed to achieve appropriate levels of the improvement on regulatory reforms in Ease doing Business, however these countries have not been successful enough in attracting Foreign investments.
