The Chemical Wine Parameters Analysis on the Bottled Wine Produced in Kosovo

Session

Food Science and Technology

Description

In the bottled wine we've done laboratory analysis of some chemical parameters. The purpose of this study work has been to verify if these parameters after bottling and with different production years, stay within the allowed levels, and as such maintain the harmony of the parametres within the bottle. The parameters analyzed were pH, alcohol, extract, total and free SO2, as well as acidity. Two type of wines, Cabernet Sauvigon and Chardonnay, of various wineries operating in Kosovo have been analyzed. The analyzes were carried out in the laboratory of the Agrokosova Holding Winery, Suhareka - South of Kosovo. The results have shown that despite different production years, all parameters have been within the allowed limits.
