Attractiveness in correlations of color

Session

Integrated Design

Description

There is considerable agreement among individuals and cultures on what is found attractive. Is the attraction of men to women influenced by the color they are wearing? Depending on the season time, this research will be done in the summer time. In this paper, we will make an experiment on the influence of color on attractiveness men to women, depending on the colors that women wear. We selected 15 Pantone colors, 5 colors with different hues, red, green, blue, white and black. The experiment will be done on research on how men react depending on different colors on the way that colors will be measured in CIE L*a*b* space. Previous studies found that red has a big impact on men attractiveness to women. But, what about other colors? In this research, all the experiments will be done in the same conditions, and research will be made by measuring the colorimetric values of colors that men chose as more attractive compared to others. All results will be presented in three-dimensional color space and we will try to find what colors depending on hue, saturation and Chroma are more interesting for this research.
