This paper states clearly that modern society is based on knowledge, and knowledge constitutes the basic source. Powerful multinational corporations are focused on steady increase of the quantity and quality of knowledge of their employees, particularly managers.
A firm will perform successful knowledge management programs if it is able to fulfill the principles and practices of knowledge management with processes, experiences, and individuals, in order to enhance its organizational memory and its ability to obtain, transfer, and apply knowledge.
This empirical study shows that it is more important to put into practice the principles of knowledge management, that the existence of a commitment to knowledge management approach, but it does not articulate all practices. In the current business context, this result shows that it is not possible to develop principles to manage and develop knowledge without the support of technological and organizational practices..
The main role of the Kosovo economy is to ensure smooth functioning and development of all economic agents, individuals, business firms, intermediary financial institutions, and government as a participant in economic activities and as a user of the output of economic activity. The main factor that enables the economic activity of a national economy as system are human resources, determined in quantity and quality. In this context, if we look at the economic aspect of education, we can conclude that educational institutions are focused on education of potential future human resources. Therefore, it should be stressed that through education we can increase human capital and thereby create better conditions for the development of a more competitive national economy.
