PLC to PLC Interfacing and Simulation for Education and Industrial Process Simulation
Session
Mechatronics, System Engineering and Robotics
Description
As the ICT advancements goes on with a great pace, there is a potential of implementation of this advancement in vocational trainings and industrial implementation in the field of Industrial Controllers known as PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), we are proposing an interfacing method complemented with PC simulator, that will simulate the real-life industrial applications. The method will support the learning process for programming the PLC and also will help competent PLC programmers to simulate industrial process, so they can program the PLC from the comfort of home, office or some less harsh environment compared to industry where the PLC will be installed so they can be more efficient, save time and have cost oriented solution.
