Description
R/C buildings are predominant at our region and in the developing countries quality of concrete sometimes is not good also need for changing the dedication or upgrade of the building is evident, so the repair and strengthening of RC structural elements is needed to be performed. The objective of this scientific paper is to elaborate the repair and strengthening of RC beams already performed in our region with carbon fibers, to present advantages and disadvantages of this kind of techniques in relation with traditional methods used before. At the end into the conclusions to give some comparisons in technical and cost point of view of this method of strengthening.
