After the destruction caused by the last war in our country there was a great need for renovations and completely new constructions. In this state of chaos, city planning was not on the agenda. The state belatedly began to apply urban regulatory plans to existing neighborhoods and then to new neighborhoods. In a hurry to provide a "roof over head" the essential role of urban planning has been forgotten and the long-term vision for improving the quality of life of residents has been reduced to just providing survival immediate needs
