From antiquity to the digital age, people have let their imagination roam free, using the region and area where they live as inspiration to design prints and patterns for different use - the clothes they wear, the spaces they share, the art they create, provided imaginative results. In gradual developments, from block printing to digital printing, reflects the history that has been shaped by this tradition designs developed. The curiosity and inventiveness of individuals from different societies was already awakened in the early ages and is used in different areas of everyday living. In the 21st century, a variety of printing techniques are used worldwide. From the most traditional to the most modern prints, the development and production on the basis of the traditional craftsmanship of process is using the digitalization principle. While certain historical and cultural motifs persist in print design, new motifs created by innovations in photography, computer aided design and natural sciences represent a new wave of creative thinking. Furthermore, the existing motifs indicate a potentially unlimited range of possibilities in the printing process. The process of printing realization is also characterized by a smooth execution principle, as digital printing has replaced the traditional parameters of screen and rotary printing. The aim of the thesis is to create a clothing collection for women that identifies with Albanian culture, tradition and modernity. Culture and modernity - the two most important values and termsof this concept, which should be linked together by the digital print. Particularities such as traditional carpets, clothing, symbols or landscapes of Albania and Kosova managed to inspire me to create new textile designs. The leading technique used for the creation of the designs is the digital print. On the basis of the technique used, is the latest BASSET collection and will be produced accordingly for the Spring/Summer 2020. Handmade carpets, traditional clothes, room details which are used as Inspiration are digitalized and reworked in the way that could be produce in the mass production in an international world, to show everywhere a part of our culture but at the same time to show modernity and a trendy taste. In the present Master thesis are going to be examined Digital Prints in the Fashion world, the process and the new possibilities of this technology. This work was designed in cooperation with the company Czerny Manufaktur and is going to be used for the company. By using selected criteria, the most favourite digital designs created by me will be used for the Basset Spring/Summer 2020 collection.
