Description
This action research focuses on developing an innovative knowledge repository for the Field Technical Assistance Division (FTAD) of DepEd Region VII (RO7). The repository aims to streamline and enhance technical assistance mechanisms and processes for the 19 Schools Division Offices (SDOs). By providing a centralized digital platform, this initiative seeks to address challenges caused by disparate data storage systems such as Google Drive, email, and other platforms, which lead to inefficiencies in data retrieval and sharing. The study identified a key issue of fragmented data storage, making it difficult for users to access and utilize critical information. To solve this, the research proposes a one-stop website for FTAD stakeholders, including Regional and Division Technical Assistance Focal Persons, and School-Based Management Coordinators. Using systems thinking, the platform will integrate existing resources and enable easy access to technical assistance interventions, plans, notable practices, and monitoring tools. The ultimate goal is to foster better decision-making, promote knowledge sharing, and ensure the successful implementation of FTAD’s mandate across all SDOs. This innovation aligns with DepEd RO7’s strategic direction for Strengthening Management, Instructions, and Leadership for Excellence (SMILE) and contributes to efficient and responsive educational governance.
