Brain Usage and Nature Vs Nurture in Children’s Language Acquisition: An Argumentative Approach
Session
Education and Development
Description
Acquisition has no end especially when it comes to children, which is why the aim of this paper is to take a turn and approach brain usage and nature vs nurture to see how much they have an impact on children's language acquisition. In order to achieve this aim, two research questions were raised: 1) How does brain usage and nature vs nurture impact children's language acquisition? and 2) Does brain usage and nature vs nurture help children acquire a language faster and more swiftly than adults? This study was conducted through the use of qualitative and Classical Argumentative Method. The results show that brain usage does in fact impact children’s language acquisition and help children learn languages faster and more swiftly than adults, due to rapid brain development since birth and the fact that they use both sides of the brain (left/right). Nature vs nurture, on the other hand, despite still not being solved by scientists/researchers as to which is superior than the other, have both been claimed to impact children in acquiring languages as they come together hand in hand.
