Journalism, Media and Communication

Description

Online Albanian media in Kosovo as a function of citizens' media education is a work that combines two research methods. That of interviews or statements of journalists and experts in the field and surveys with ordinary citizens. The purpose of the research was to highlight the role of online media in the media education of citizens, while the objective is to extract results or findings on this much-discussed issue in Kosovo. By combining quantitative and qualitative methods, we have found that online media play an essential role in the media education of citizens and that this would be achieved by training all those who deal with the media. The shortcomings and limits of the work exist in the fact that the statements of experts and journalists were taken from the context of their interviews, while the surveys were made in the "Google Form" format and may have been answered by interviewers outside Kosovo, while the limits are the short time respondents.
