. The choledochus, or common bile duct (CBD), is a noteworthy segment of the biliary framework serving to convey bile from liver and gallbladder to duodenum. Injuries of the choledochus are complications of different medical and surgical in- terventions, with serious morbidities. In this publication, we provide an updated review of the incidence, mechanisms and man- agement of choledochal injuries to emphasize the need for early diagnosis and on-time treatment
