Description
Through this paper, we wanted to show the importance of this group of this family, the nutritional values, the benefits that we get from these fruits and the health importance. All ages, starting from 6-month-old children to advanced age, should pay special attention to what they eat, as this has a direct impact on their physical and mental development. The research methodology is based on published data on the content of substances in the fruits of plants as well as through a questionnaire with citizens regarding the consumption of fruits and their knowledge of the health importance. Rosaceae is a medium-sized family of flowering plants that includes 4,828 known species in 91 genera. Many economically important products come from this family, including various fruits such as apples, pears, quinces, apricots, cherries, aronia, currants, etc.
