Description
The effects of anesthesia on cancerous diseases of the uterus present significant challenges in the field of gynecology. This study aims to explore these effects in the Gynecology Department in Gjilan. Between 2023 and 2024, this clinic evaluated patients undergoing treatment for uterine cancer. The focus was on assessing how anesthesia impacted their overall treatment outcomes and quality of life. The most common cancerous conditions observed were endometrial carcinoma, uterine sarcoma, and cervical cancer. Anesthesia management was tailored to each patient’s specific needs, with particular attention to those with complicated cases. Accurate patient history and appropriate anesthesia protocols are essential for optimizing the care of patients with uterine cancer. Our findings highlight the need for specialized anesthetic approaches to improve patient outcomes and en- hance the quality of life for those battling this disease.
